01 · Project Overview
A complete digital transformation for Campus Shoes
This document is Troopod's proposal for Campus Shoes' end-to-end website revamp on Shopify, a full design and development transformation across the entire commerce experience, followed by a performance-optimised, conversion-driven growth engagement once the new site is live.

Templates in scope (campusshoes.com)
2
Phases · Design & Development
1
Property in scope this SOW
The two phases
Phase 01
Design
Finalising UI/UX across every template - sign-off before development begins.
Phase 02
Development
Building the signed-off designs into a live, production-ready Shopify theme.
Why this approach
-
Design-first, dev-second. Campus Shoes is already live and generating revenue on Shopify - this is a revamp, not a migration. Every template is fully designed directly in HTML and signed off before development starts, so there's no rework mid-build and no surprises at go-live.
-
Scoped by template, not by page count. Campus Shoes runs 100+ collections and thousands of products, but they render off a small set of reusable templates. Our audit of the live site locked this down to 15 unique templates - that's what actually gets designed and built, not every individual URL.
-
The revamp is the beginning, not the end. Once the new theme is live, Troopod runs a one-time technical performance optimisation pass on the new site, followed by an ongoing CRO retainer to keep improving conversion month over month. This proposal covers the revamp; what comes after is outlined in Commercials.
Proposal validity
This proposal is dated 19 July 2026. Pricing and terms in this document are valid only until the first week of August 2026, after which they are subject to revision.
02 · Understanding the Brief
The brief, and how we read it
Campus Shoes is India's largest sports and athleisure footwear brand, selling 15M+ pairs of footwear a year. This revamp needs to modernise the shopping experience without disrupting a business that already converts at scale. Here's our read of the critical dimensions.
Brand objectives
01
A modern, immersive shopping experience
The redesign should feel like a step-change from the current site, aligned with Troopod's "Immersive and Experiential Design" positioning: richer visual storytelling, smoother navigation, and a more premium feel across every touchpoint.
02
A PDP built to convert on trust
Campus Shoes carries 9,500+ product reviews live on-site today. The new PDP should make that social proof, size confidence, and tech-feature storytelling (Bubble Yoga, Nitroboost, Support-Tech) work harder, especially on mobile where most of the traffic sits.
03
Category discovery that doesn't feel like 100+ flat collections
Men/Women/Kids × Running/Sports/Casual/Sneakers/Sandals/Slippers today live as separate flat collection pages. The redesign should make cross-category and cross-gender discovery feel intentional - especially for Élan (premium sub-line) and the newer Apparel/Accessories categories, which need their own visual identity within a consistent system.
04
One consolidated account experience
Today, account, wishlist (+ shared wishlist), rewards, and a separate KwikPass-style login exist as five disconnected pages/apps. This is the single highest-leverage UX consolidation opportunity in the revamp.
03 · Scope of Work
Design first. Build second. Scope fixed.
Scope is defined against the 15 templates confirmed in our audit of campusshoes.com. Anything outside what's listed below, including campusactivewear.com, is explicitly out of scope for this proposal and would be quoted separately.
Phase 01
Design
HTML design · Sign-off gate before Phase 02
✦
Design system foundation - typography, colour, spacing, component library, and grid system defined for the new theme, applied consistently across every template below.
✦
Homepage - hero, bestseller/new-arrival merchandising, category navigation entry points, brand storytelling blocks.
✦
PLP (Product Listing Page) - one flexible template design with category-conditional filter modules (footwear: size/width/sport; apparel: size/colour; accessories: simplified grid).
✦
PDP - Footwear variant - size/width selector, sole and tech-feature callouts, reviews, care instructions, cross-sell.
✦
PDP - Apparel/Accessories variant - garment size chart, fabric/wash-care, simplified spec block for accessories.
✦
Search Results - redesigned results layout with filtering and merchandising parity with PLP.
✦
Cart & Checkout - cart page redesign and on-brand Shopify checkout styling within platform constraints.
✦
Consolidated Account ecosystem - single design system unifying Login/Register, Profile, Addresses, Wishlist (+ shared wishlist), and Rewards into one coherent flow.
✦
Blog listing & Blog post - content templates for News and Lifestyle blogs.
✦
Static/Policy template - one flexible content template covering About, Contact, FAQs, T&Cs, Privacy, Shipping/Return policy, Size Guides, Sneaker Care.
✦
B2B/Institutional page - dedicated lead-capture layout for bulk/institutional orders.
✦
404 / Not Found - on-brand error template.
✦
Design QA & sign-off round - 2 rounds of review/feedback across Phase 01, ending in written sign-off before Phase 02 begins.
Review & feedback rounds
Design (Phase 01): 2 rounds of review/feedback in total across the full design phase. Once design is locked and signed off, new requirements or feedback are not entertained within this scope, they would be treated as a change request.
Development (Phase 02): 2 rounds of review after build. These rounds are strictly for fixing errors or basic changes against the signed-off design, not for introducing anything new that wasn't part of the design sign-off.
This 2+2 review structure applies the same way whether Campus Shoes chooses the full 15-template revamp, the High Impact Revamp (3 templates), or either bundled option.
Phase 02
Development
Signed-off design → live Shopify theme
✦
Theme build - full development of all Phase 01 templates into a production Shopify theme.
✦
App/integration continuity - existing integrations (Judge.me reviews, KwikPass-style login, Return Prime) reconnected and restyled within the new theme; new app needs evaluated during build.
✦
Account ecosystem build - the consolidated account/wishlist/rewards design implemented as a unified flow.
✦
SEO & metadata setup - metadata, Open Graph, and structured data configured across all templates, preserving existing URL structure.
✦
Analytics setup - GA4 / analytics dashboard configured on the new theme.
✦
QA across devices - desktop and mobile QA across all templates before staging review.
✦
Staging review & go-live - full store on staging for Campus Shoes sign-off, go-live only on written confirmation.
Out of scope for this proposal
✦
campusactivewear.com - separate corporate/investor relations site. Not included in this proposal; to be scoped and quoted separately if required.
✦
Store Locator - lives on stores.campusshoes.com, a separate subdomain/property.
✦
Order Tracking - currently outsourced to Shiprocket; unchanged unless separately scoped.
✦
Return/Exchange workflow - runs through the Return Prime app; restyled within the theme but workflow logic itself is unchanged.
✦
Data cleanup or catalog restructuring - category/product-type restructuring beyond what's needed for the new PLP filter logic is excluded unless separately scoped.
Anything beyond the 15 templates above
Any page, template, feature, or property not explicitly listed in this Scope of Work, including campusactivewear.com, additional template variants, or new functionality requested mid-project, is treated as out of scope and will be quoted and charged separately before work begins.
Creative assets
Photography, videos, illustrations, and other creative assets required for the new templates are to be provided by Campus Shoes, unless Troopod's creative production is separately taken as an add-on offering. Design and development timelines assume these assets are supplied on schedule.

Timeline depends on Campus Shoes too
This 8-week timeline assumes materials, content, and creative assets are delivered on schedule, and that approvals/feedback on each review round come back within 3 business days. Any delay on Campus Shoes' side, whether it's pending assets, delayed approvals, unavailable stakeholders, or late sign-off, will push the timeline out proportionally. Troopod is not responsible for schedule slippage caused by client-side delays.

Transparent pricing, per template
Priced per template based on effort tier, with post-launch Performance Optimisation and CRO retainer priced separately below. Pricing valid until the first week of August 2026.

Media/ad spend required to drive traffic for CRO experiments.

Any paid third-party research or optimisation tools (e.g. heatmaps, session recording) beyond Troopod's own experimentation platform.
08 · Assets Required
What we need from Campus Shoes
Design can start immediately, but these speed up both phases materially.
Required from Day 1
✦
Brand assets & guidelines - logo, colour palette, fonts, and any existing brand/Élan sub-brand guidelines.
✦
Shopify admin access - theme editor, app list, and existing integration credentials (Judge.me, Return Prime, KwikPass-style login).
✦
Shopify plan/tier confirmation - whether the store is on Shopify Plus or standard, since this affects Checkout customisation scope.
✦
Category & filter logic - confirmation of how Men/Women/Kids × product-type filtering should behave in the new PLP.
✦
Stakeholder availability - a single point of contact for design review rounds and sign-off.
Required before Phase 02
✦
Written design sign-off - formal approval on all 15 templates.
✦
Creative assets - photography, video, and other creative assets required for the signed-off templates, unless Troopod's creative production is separately taken as an add-on.
✦
Content & copy inputs - any updated product storytelling, size guide content, or policy copy changes.
✦
Analytics access - access to the existing GA4/Google Tag Manager account, or confirmation to set up new ones.
✦
App/tool decisions - confirmation on which existing integrations carry over as-is vs. get replaced during the rebuild.

Phase 01 advance received
Design work begins once payment clears.
Design kickoff
Design system + template design begins across all 15 templates.
Design sign-off → Phase 02 advance
On written design approval, Phase 02 advance is invoiced and development begins.

11 · Terms & Conditions
Clear terms, clear ownership
Designed to keep the engagement commercially clean and responsibilities unambiguous across design, development, go-live, and post-launch.
Commercials & Payment
01
Phase-gated payment. Phase 01 is payable in advance before design work begins. Phase 02 is payable in advance on written Phase 01 sign-off. This does not apply if Campus Shoes selects a bundled option instead, see clause 14.
02
Advance is non-refundable once work starts. Covers discovery, design planning, and resource allocation costs incurred from Day 1 of each phase.
03
Post-launch engagements billed separately. The one-time Performance Optimisation, the recurring TrooCRO retainer, and the bundled options are priced separately from Phase 01/02 in this proposal, and each is invoiced on its own cycle as set out in the Payment Terms table.
04
Additional tech hours. Any tech hours required beyond the TrooCRO retainer scope are billed at ₹1,500/hr, require written approval before work begins, and are invoiced alongside the following retainer cycle.
Scope & Change Requests
05
Defined scope only. Troopod delivers the 15 templates expressly listed under Phase 01/02 for campusshoes.com. campusactivewear.com and anything not listed is out of scope and quoted separately.
06
Phase gating. Phase 02 begins only after Phase 01 is fully signed off in writing.
07
Review rounds. Design (Phase 01) includes 2 rounds of review/feedback in total. Once design is signed off, new requirements or feedback changes are not entertained under this scope and would need a separate change request. Development (Phase 02) includes 2 rounds of review after build, limited strictly to fixing errors or basic changes against the signed-off design, not new functionality or design changes.
08
Anything beyond the 15 templates is charged extra. Any additional page, template, feature, or property, including campusactivewear.com, requested during or after this engagement will be quoted and charged separately, and requires written approval before work begins.
09
Creative assets are Campus Shoes' responsibility. Photography, video, and other creative assets required for the new templates must be supplied by Campus Shoes, unless Troopod's creative production is separately taken as an add-on. Delays in asset delivery shift the timeline proportionally.
Client Responsibilities & Delays
10
Access & inputs. Campus Shoes is responsible for timely Shopify admin access, brand assets, content inputs, and stakeholder availability for review rounds.
11
Feedback windows. Each review/approval carries a 3-business-day response window. Delays beyond this shift the timeline proportionally.
Third-Party Platforms & Costs
12
Third-party costs. Shopify fees, app subscriptions, and third-party tool costs are borne directly by Campus Shoes.
13
App limitations. Functionality delivered through third-party apps is subject to that app's capabilities and pricing. Customisation beyond native app behaviour is scoped separately.
Retainer & Bundle Commitments
14
Bundle lock-in. If Campus Shoes opts for the 12-month or 6-month bundle, it replaces the Phase 01/02 advances and standalone Performance/CRO payments in clause 01 and 03, the committed term is fixed for its full duration, billed quarterly in advance. Early termination is not permitted, and the remaining bundle value becomes payable in full.
15
Standalone TrooCRO retainer cancellation. If not on a bundle, the TrooCRO retainer can be cancelled with 60 days' written notice. Fees already invoiced for the notice period remain payable.
16
A/B test cap. Up to 4 experiments per month are included in the TrooCRO retainer, depending on complexity. Additional experiments requested within the same month are scoped and billed separately.
Ownership, Handover & Liability
17
Ownership on payment. Custom theme code and design assets created for this project transfer to Campus Shoes upon full payment and formal handover. Troopod's underlying tools, frameworks, and reusable components remain Troopod's IP.
18
Formal sign-off. Written email confirmation constitutes sign-off at every stage; verbal confirmation does not count.
19
Portfolio rights. Troopod may feature the completed work in its portfolio and case studies unless Campus Shoes requests otherwise in writing prior to commencement.
20
Post-launch support. A 14-day post-launch support window from go-live covers bugs directly attributable to Troopod's implementation. New features or changes beyond agreed scope are treated as new work.
21
Business outcome limitation. Troopod delivers the agreed implementation scope. Revenue, conversion, or traffic outcomes are not guaranteed under this SOW; they are the explicit focus of the post-launch CRO retainer.
Confidentiality, Termination & Governing Law
22
Confidentiality. Both parties agree to keep each other's commercial terms, business data, and other non-public information confidential, and not disclose it to third parties except as required by law.
23
Termination. Outside of the bundle and retainer terms in clauses 14-16, either party may terminate this engagement with 60 days' written notice. Fees for work completed and any non-refundable advances up to the termination date remain payable.
24
Governing law & dispute resolution. This agreement is governed by the laws of India, with courts in Mumbai having exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
25
Proposal validity. This proposal is dated 19 July 2026. Pricing and terms in this document are valid only until the first week of August 2026, after which they are subject to revision.
